EAA 709 Spring Fly-In
Rome EAA Chapter 709 hosts its annual Spring Fly-In, also known as the May Fly-In, on the second Saturday in May. Please come join us for a day of flying, camping, eating and "EAA fellowship" at the EAA 709 campgrounds at the east end of Richard B. Russell Airport (RMG) in Rome , Georgia
Here is the usual schedule of events:
Saturday
Fellowship, sharing, & learning time 8:00 AM - ????
Breakfast 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Pancakes, eggs, sausage, grits, drink (suggested donation $4.00)
Fellowship, sharing, & learning
Lunch (if a sufficient number of pilots/attendees are hear at lunch time...) 12:00 – 1:30 PM
Camp under your wing or drive your camper down. We don't have camper hookups, but we do have restrooms and hot showers.
Note: This is EAA event, held at the EAA campgrounds. There will not be any events at the Rome Airport Terminal.
